The Information and Coordination Centre for Biological Diversity (IBV) is responsible for the collection, documentation and user-oriented dissemination of data related to agrobiodiversity in Germany. According to increasing demands for an efficient monitoring of status and trends of genetic resources the IBV further develops the National Inventory for Plant Genetic Resources (PGRDEU), the National Inventory for Animal Genetic Resources (TGRDEU), the National Inventory for Forest Genetic Resources (FGRDEU) and the National Inventory for Aquatic Genetic Resources (AGRDEU). The total number of National Inventories are summarised as "XGRDEU online databases".
