Old native livestock breeds are an important element of biological diversity in Germany. They often have special characteristics or a regional history. Unfortunately, many of these breeds are endangered today.
The BMEL and its cooperation partners are organizing the multi-day congress on breeding and conservation of old and endangered native livestock breeds from September 26-28, 2022 at the World Conference Center Bonn.

A diverse, cross-species program awaits you at a unique venue. During the congress and at the evening reception on September 27, 2022, there will be numerous opportunities to exchange ideas. As part of the event, a market will be offered where products of or for native livestock breeds can be presented and / or sold. If you want to offer or present such products and are interested in filling a market stall, please contact Mr. Holger Göderz until 30.08.2022.
